Dark Star

In January of 2026, I started working with WhySo Studio on their current project, Dark Star. On this production, I work solely as a texture artist. My role includes creating textures in an 80s animation linework style, based on concept art of the ships and props. Here is Dark Star:

I joined WhySo Studio in January 2026 and am currently working as the texture artist for the team. Using the concept art for 3d assets, I translate that detail into the hand-lined work on the models. This includes adding additional detail features that aren't present in concepts, applying colors, and creating the hand-painted shadows.
